Grangemouth Sports Complex Re-opening 26th April 2021

Finally, we can share some good news that we will be able to get back into the pool. Grangemouth Sports complex will be reopening on the 26th of April and we are hoping to get back in on Tuesday the 27th of April.
Initially we will be returning with the same session times we had before we went into Lockdown in December so swimmers will be in the same groups as before and will swim at the same times as before. Apologies that at the current time it is under 18s only that are allowed to train.
Session Times
Tuesdays session 1 -18.15-19.00 ;  Session 2  – 19.15-20.00 ;  Session 3 –  20.15-21.00
Mondays Morning – 05.45-07.00
Friday Morning  – 05.45-07.00
Sunday Morning  – 07.15-08.15 ; Afternoon – 16.00-17.00
We are hoping that some of the school pools will be opening soon as well which will allow us to increase the number of sessions, please keep checking emails, the website or Facebook for updates.
Due to the recent updates from the Scottish government and Scottish Swimming this is ahead of the schedule that we were working to, so we need your co-operation to get the swimmers back in the pool.
To comply with Scottish Swimming regulations (the Clubs governing body) we require the health and safety forms to be completed again and all SASA memberships must be up to date (you should have received an email from the treasurer regarding this).
Can everyone please complete the mandatory tasks below by Sunday the 25th of April.
1. Please complete the Health Screen form and the Return to water self-declaration which are both on the club website under the welcome tab. We do not need the club member survey again.
2. Make sure you have paid your SASA membership (email from Treasurer gives details for this).
3. Please log onto your SASA membership online account and confirm your details are correct.
Currently we still must comply with all the procedures as we did before so, please make sure everyone is familiar with the procedures at the pool, re watch the video and read the return to training document on the members area on the website to refresh your memory. Any new updates regarding changes to the procedures will be passed on to all swimmers as soon as they come into effect.
Please be aware that if you have not completed the health screen, self-declaration forms and paid your SASA membership you will not be able to participate in any club activity.
If you have any queries regarding this information, please email
Thank you for your co-operation.
